MTG TCG - Shards of Alara Booster Pack

Shards of Alara's design revolves around five distinct "shards" that were once part of a unified world. Mechanically, each shard embodies one of the five magical colors and its two allied colors. Every shard features a unique keyword mechanic or a defining theme, along with its specific creature types.

Bill Rose served as the principal designer for Shards of Alara, while Devin Low took on the role of lead developer. Shards represent a multicolor set centered on three-color combinations, encapsulated by its tagline, "Five worlds, one shared destiny.

The set consists of 249 cards, of which 20 are basic lands, 101 are common, 60 uncommon, 53 rare, and 15 are mythic rare. It was the first set to contain cards of the mythic rarity.
